January 21st: Lora Reynolds Gallery — Final Exhibition
We’ll begin the year with a truly historic moment for Austin’s art community. After nearly two decades, the renowned Lora Reynolds Gallery will close its doors, marking the end of an extraordinary chapter. Founded in 2005 by Lora Reynolds—who previously worked with Anthony d'Offay and Matthew Marks Galleries in London and New York—the gallery has been a vital platform for emerging, mid-career, and established artists across every medium, from drawing and painting to film and video.
Over the years, the gallery’s main exhibition space and project room have hosted hundreds of shows that challenged, inspired, and expanded Austin’s contemporary art scene. This final exhibition is not only a chance to experience their last presentation but also an opportunity to celebrate the gallery’s legacy of vision and dedication to artists. Join us as we honor the closing of one of Austin’s most influential cultural spaces.
